I tried Blues City deli for the first time yesterday and let me tell you, I can say with 100% confidence this is the BEST sandwich’s I’ve ever had. We got the Tommy and the Turkey sandwich and it was phenomenal. It tastes like they put their heart and soul into these sandwiches, everything tastes fresh and has amazing flavor! It was soo good, we came back the following day to try another sandwich and we got the tommy(again) and the chicken shack ranch and it was even better than the day before. You have a new regular now and I’m craving it again for dinner! Absolutely delicious.

As a foodie Blue City Deli has a special place in my heart. I lived in St. Louis for 6 months while I was traveling for work and I have come back here over 50 times easily. I have been to many different restaurants in many different states and Blue City Deli is in my top 5 in a overall general food rating. But as a sandwich place it’s definitely the best place I have ever been too. I haven’t had a bad sandwich here. I usually get the special of the day when I come here and they are all amazing. Something that surprises me is how good their potato salad is, it is my personal favorite potato salad I have ever tasted and nothing else comes close. If you’re thinking about coming here just stop. Stop thinking about it and come here, you won’t regret it. Also try one of their cookies, I personally love the almond joy cookie or the lemon white chocolate cookie. They also have amazing customer service and an amazing atmosphere. Everyone that works here is very welcoming and helpful. I’m happy to have had the opportunity to come here.

My boyfriend and I were in town to watch the San Diego Padres play and stopped by for lunch at Blues City Deli. We were immediately greeted by Vince who noticed my boyfriend’s jersey and was super welcoming. I ordered the 7th St. Sicilian and Vince recommended the Creole Deluxe for my boyfriend. Both sandwiches were delicious and you could tell all the ingredients were fresh - Vince made a fantastic recommendation with the Creole Deluxe as the meat was juicy and cooked to perfection with a creole-mayo that really made the sandwich stand out. The service was 10/10 - our food came out fast, multiple people checked on us even though they were busy, and even Vince came out to see how we were doing. The atmosphere was also great - the walls are covered in blues memorabilia while blues music plays in the background. You can clearly tell that this place is beloved by locals and there’s no questions why. We had a great experience at Blues City Deli and we’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town. And extra thanks to Vince who was so nice and welcoming!

I'm here to tell you, this place is IT, and all the sammiches are fire. My personal favorite is the creole deluxe (add boom boom sauce), but I highly recommend trying them all. While you're there, grab a pizza to go. They're very not bad!!

Awesome neighborhood sandwich shop in the heart of south city. They are only open from 1030-3pm. This team knows exactly what they're doing. Worth the wait to get in for sure, you won't wait long for your food once you order.

Best sandwich I’ve had in a long, long time. I had “The Chief” special with roasted pork…unbelievably good. And the owner is just lovely, I’d come back just to chat with him!

Limited Seating. Counter Service. Sandwiches are creative and out of this world delicious. I tried the Knuckle & Muffuletta Sandwich (liked knuckle best). There are many more sandwiches I would like to try and will return to do so. As always, be sure to Tell’em OuttaTownTony sent you via his Google review!

This place is amazing! The atmosphere is all blues and the history of blues. The food is that of a St. Louis Deli, with some New Orleans added for those who want to live a little extra! I had a Muffulatta it was a single serving and that was plenty enough! They also several it in half or whole sizes. That should feed a family. My friend had the Creole Deluxe PoBoy. That was also delicious! I highly recommend this deli!
